The hotel is located in a very convenient place with a great view of the train tracks. the rooms are clean, quiet, well-equipped, and relatively spacious by Japan standards. the bathroom comes with a shower, bathtub, and an electric toilet, and there’s a bakery nearby, and a large food court across the street.

The breakfast is limited, and not typical of the local food, and there's no gym available.

As I was staying in the Kawasaki Mets Hotel since many years I could say, that the service became worse especially in comparison to the increased room rate. And (just my feeling) the orientation is more and more focusing on Japanese visitors. e.g. the air conditioning is by default very warm and difficult to cool down and the menu for operating it is only in Japanese. After renovation I would have expected to have at least a universal power supply equipment but it is still only standard Japanese. TV also, only Japanese channels.

Breakfast (only one choice per day) rotating among two different meals. No flexibility, no eggs, no alternative and no buffet (used to be small but available in the past). No safe. No place for clothes (just a little wardrobe but nothing for shirts or trousers).

We loved the location of this hotel - it was literally adjacent to the train tracks and very close to the train station. Exploring and commuting around this city was a breeze! Additionally, the hotel facilities were very clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and offered great service. We were impressed with the advanced check-in system, which made the check-in process quick and easy.

Great location with easy access to train station and shopping. Rooms were clean and comfortable with modern amenities including USB charging ports. Breakfast options were included with the room rate and offered a mix of Japanese and Western dishes.
